Geotargeting
Geotargeting is the practice of delivering ads or content to people based on their location. A business might target a whole city or region, or narrow it down to a particular suburb. It can also target where people live or where they work, which are often different places worth reaching at different times of day.
Done well, geotargeting makes content more relevant, so it tends to lift engagement and conversions while improving Return on Investment (ROI). It’s often combined with other targeting layers, like age or interests, to reach a more specific audience.
