Milsearch is a highly specialised company focusing on a critical global issue – safely remediating unexploded ordinance (UXO). This means removing undetonated explosives and ammunition left behind by military training or conflict. This is a delicate and potentially dangerous process that requires a high level of expertise.

Milsearch, a family-owned business, is Australia’s first and foremost UXO contractor, being formed in 1989. Since then, they have operated throughout South East Asia, the South Pacific and Australia. In 2019, they wanted a brand and website refresh to reflect their ongoing growth, leading them to come to us.

They were seeking a modern and minimal logo and a more vibrant, striking colour palette. UXO remediation is a sensitive and complex issue that we had to be wary of while making design decisions.
